Formerly Glendora Vision Center, Glendora Optometry is proud to have a history of 50+ years in the same location serving the beautiful small close-knit community of Glendora.
About Us
Glendora Optometry - We are a full scope primary eye care office
The office was first started by Dr. Sulliman in the early 1970s in the Mayflower plaza. Dr. Randy Burt took over the practice and ran it successfully for more than 30 years. Dr. Burt recently retired and passed the torch to Dr. Cecilia Wong who has worked in the office since 1996. As a very community-based office, we have had the immense blessing to be able to see several generations of members of the same family as many of our patients have grown up in our office.
We are a full-scope primary eye care office. We have an in-office finishing lab so we can have prescriptions finished in an hour or so. We also treat red eyes, infections, glaucoma and mild trauma. We have a retinal surgeon in our office on a regular basis. We take most insurances such as VSP, unions, city, state, and federal employees, and many other insurances. Private pay is always welcome

We recommend annual eye exams for you and your family.
Everyone should read with proper lighting.
The most common type of glaucoma is primary open-angle glaucoma. It has no signs or symptoms except gradual vision loss. For that reason, it’s important that you go to yearly comprehensive eye exams so your ophthalmologist, or eye specialist, can monitor any changes in your vision.
Acute-angle closure glaucoma, which is also known as narrow-angle glaucoma, is a medical emergency. See your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following symptoms:
severe eye pain
nausea
vomiting
redness in your eye
sudden vision disturbances
seeing colored rings around lights
sudden blurred vision
